2021 HR Professional Excellence Award Nomination

The HR Professional Excellence Award which began in 2000 and presented by the SHRM Tennessee State Council, recognizes contributions to the Human Resource Profession by any HR Professional working in the state of Tennessee.  Nominees, selected by a panel of State Council members, are considered based on service to chapter, the HR profession, the community, and professional history. All nominations must be received no later than Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

The following 4 criteria should be considered:

  1. Service to the Chapter - such as leadership, committee participation, program development and participation and support of chapter goals activities.
  2. Service to the HR Profession - including leadership roles in SHRM at the state, regional or national level; leadership roles in other professional organizations, volunteer activities that increase awareness of and reflect favorably on the role of HR professionals, innovations in HR practices, acting as a resource to peers, mentoring students or young professionals, publications, research, teaching and training in the fields of HR and business in general.
  3. Service to the Community - Civic, community, and charitable and service organization involvement.
  4. Professional History - Education, experience, work history, record of professional growth, accomplishments, professional certification.

Upon submission, your nominee will receive a notification by email from the nominating committee.
