SUBMISSION DETAILS

Topics
We ask that topics focus on one or more competencies as defined by the SHRM Body of Competency and Knowledge (SHRM BoCK™), which outlines the key behavioral and technical skills HR professionals need for effective performance. Additionally, we prioritize submissions that meet HRCI Business Credit criteria, as these are highly sought after by our members.
All submissions should include a compelling description and at least three actionable learning objectives. When submitting your presentation, please indicate if you are willing to conduct it as a panel discussion and would be responsible for securing panelists if requested. While panelists do not need to be confirmed at the time of submission, you may organize your panel once your session is selected, based on speaker availability.

PROOF OF PERFORMANCE
Proof of performance is strongly preferred for all speakers. TN SHRM strives to offer balanced professional development and qualified speakers. Proof of performance will strengthen but not limit your submission. Preferred forms of proof of performance include links to video recordings of the proposed speaker presenting to an audience or a summary of the evaluations from a program the speaker previously presented.
SPEAKER BENEFITS
If your presentation is selected, you will have:
• The opportunity to share your expertise and experience
• The ability to enhance your professional creditability while serving the profession
• Recognition in TN SHRM event materials reaching 4,100+ professionals throughout Tennessee
• Recognition on TN SHRM website (www.tnshrm.org)
Please note that TN SHRM does not pay speaker fees or honorariums or reimburse for travel.
SELECTION PROCESS
TN SHRM accepts submissions year-round for consideration. Selection is based on content relevance, clearly defined and applicable learning objectives, alignment with the SHRM BoCK™, tangible takeaways, and effective learning facilitation. You may be contacted at different times during the year, depending on the program for which you are selected to present.
